At Health Blossoms, we offer Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) with the GigaLaser. Health Blossoms is the first clinic in Texas to offer LLLT with the GigaLaser for fertility and women’s health.

The GigaLaser is a class 3B laser with three panels and 36 laser diodes to treat large areas such as the abdomen or the back. The GigaLaser provides a large dosage of laser light with deep penetration into the tissue.

This therapy is especially beneficial for fertility enhancement, hormone regulation, and tissue recovery. The GigaLaser is a powerful tool for women preparing for IVF or IUI.

What Is Low-Level Laser Acupuncture?

Low level laser therapy (LLLT) is also known as photo biomodulation or cold laser therapy. LLLT is light therapy that provides gentle, therapeutic effects to the body, at the cellular and mitochondrial level. The light energy from the low level laser penetrates through the tissues of the body into the cells and improves mitochondrial function.

The mitochondria are the power houses of every cell in the body. Mitochondrial health is central to egg quality. The eggs have 200 times more mitochondria than any other cells in the body. As women age, mitochondrial function wanes with fewer mitochondria and less ATP production. Without enough ATP production or energy, the follicle may not mature optimally and even with fertilization, the embryo may not have enough energy to develop or implant.

Laser Therapy Protocols by Fertility Goal

A protocol may be 100 days or 3-4 menstrual cycles or months. In some cases, a longer protocol may be needed.
